Cracked Kingdom by Erin Watt

This book was really slow in the beginning. And Eastern and Hartley barely even have a scene together til almost half-way through the book. But once they got together again, it was magical. I loved their relationship, especially that it was based out of a friendship first.
I also liked that I didn't really expect it to end where it did. It was a plot twist I didn't see coming but enjoyed.
I also enjoyed Eastern way more in this book, probably because he didn't drink and started taking responsibility for himself or adulting, as Eastern would put it.
I am curious to know what happens to the twins now, and what role Dylan, Hartley's sister will play in the future (if there is a next book).
I also really liked the fact that this book didn't get stuck going over the same issues in the last book, mainly about Eastern's past behaviour and the events that lead to this book, I was really glad that it was pretty much resolved and done with in the early staged of Hartley and Eastern's new relationship.
