Overall this book was a letdown for me. Xavier was just too immature for me to like him much. His internal dialog was over done, it just seemed like filler at times. Also he would clearly be aware of why what he was doing was wrong and would think about the consequences and still do the thing. There were several editing errors that made the timeline of the story in the second half very confusing. My biggest issue with the story was the miscommunication between Xavier and Logan. I hate when the third act breakup could so easily be resolved with open and honest communication and this one definitely could have been. I didn't love the ending either and honestly more credit is given to Xavier for character growth than I actually thought happened.
