I nearly gave up on the book. I wasn’t in the mood for a memoir and I didn’t take to his voice in the story straight away, but man I am so glad I kept going.
If there’s one thing I took away from this book it is that persistence is so big in determining success. So many obstacles that might have made others give up, but he kept going through them all.
I finished reading this with goosebumps on my arms and a lump in my throat.
