Didn't exactly finish this one, as it's more of a reference book, but read a LOT of the chapters that are relevant to my life as someone on the job market. It was recommended multiple times by multiple people on the placement committee/the junior faculty in my program. It's definitely a helpful resource, though I do think some of the information is outdated and/or relative. Some of it made me gasp with disdain, like when she suggests women talk in a lower tone of voice and be sure to have a firm handshake. But some of it is just generally good to know because there are clearly rules/etiquette behind a lot of the job market practices and not knowing them could be a huge deterrent to a hiring committee. I also found myself going to the blog she has for more detailed information.
