Rosalie’s and Alexei’s story is steamy, hot and even has some mystery thriller component to it. From the very beginning when Rosalie meets Alexei, I was enthralled by their game of cat and mouse. Alexei is dark, mysterious and slightly obsessed with his new lawyer; needs to regain control of his crystal empire as well as find out who framed him. Rosalie is a top notch lawyer, this being her first time doing a criminal case she’s determined to set the facts straight and make sure her morally grey, impulsive client does not end up back in prison. As Alexei’s infatuation with Rosalie grows stronger, she can’t help but be drawn to the mafia’s boss’s seductive charms. 

 

I went into this story blind, since I didn’t read the first book, even then their story captured my attention from the very first page. You just couldn’t help but love Alexei, even with all his morally grey decisions. Thank you to Good Girls PR and Rebecca Zanetti for letting me get to know Alexei and Rosalie’s story.
