This book unfortunately wasn't for me. I don't think it was a bad book, I just didn't enjoy it anywhere near as much as I thought I would. Cosy fantasy, a snarky main character, magic, it's all the things I love. Unfortunately it just didn't mesh for me. I was bored through most of the book. I didn't really care about the characters. It felt like it went on forever and not much happened. I didn't even care for the romance because I didn't see any chemistry between Finley and Lady Janure. Overall just not for me.
