Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson

3.0

I've thought of a way to make this book a 5 star read:
- sloane doesn't say goodbye & leaves the list because she loves emily and thinks that if she completes everything on the list and makes friends on the way she might realise that what she feels towards sloane isn't friendship but something more (because lbr emily was 10000% in love with sloane)
- emily makes these friends and realises that what she feels towards them is different to what she feels towards sloane (or even dawn bc wlw is the way to go)
- then at the end when she visits sloane she either confesses her feelings and they enter into a ldr (premise for a book 2 even) or she tells sloane about her and dawn (who've become a couple) and sloane is just. happy for emily that she has found someone who loves her and can be there for her physically as well as emotionally
-TL;DR? LESBIANS ARE THE ANSWER
