I think this is my second favorite book in the series, behind book one, but it definitely had my favorite bookclub book - I wish it was real, because I would totally read it. I loved watching Alexis and Noah's friendship develop into something more. They are both dealing with some heavy traumas from their pasts so seeing them become the levity for each other was great. And not to be a broken record, but I really loved the strong focus on family in this story. It's a complex and messy situation but I loved how it unfolded. Alexis's trouble with a fellow business owner (a literal Karen) was the weakest point for me - it wasn't really bad, just not a priority to it kinda fell flat.
