Tryfling Matters by Jenn Thorson

Well, this was fun, and I'm kinda bummed that the author is taking another direction with the next book series; I would have to seen another installment of this group of protagonists.

In contrast to the first two books in the series, this one plays out (most of) its story line on Tryfe. Er, Earth. But just as with the first two, the author has fun with plot, dialog, and names. The made-up names for stuff keep flowing, and - as always - sound like *some* name that you already know, but can't quite identify, but know that the made-up one is making some kind of wry commentary.

I think this author is another great example of how (Amazon?) self-publishing is changing the book industry for the better; I can only imagine how many fun books like this I would *not* be seeing if a publisher was a gatekeeper.

If you like tongue-in-cheek humor, and don't mind far-reaching space stories, this is for you.
