The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism by Naomi Klein

5.0

I bought and read this not long after it was released in 2007. I still have it today in my room, even after having sold and given away most of my physical books for various reasons. In retrospect, this is probably one of the books that has had the most influence on how I think about the world. I think that her central thesis has been proven true again and again in the years following its publication.
