The Lost Heir (Wings of Fire #2) by Tui T. Sutherland
- Plot- or character-driven? A mix
- Strong character development? Yes
3.5
Format: Audiobook
Rating: 3.5
I read my review from when I read the first book in this series, years back in 2019. I have to say, I feel exactly the same about the sequel as I did the first book in the Wings of Fire series.
The age range confuses me as it reads very middle grade but contains some very gory and graphic violent scenes.
It was interesting reading from Tsunami’s perspective and I loved the theme of sisterhood in this book. I’m sure alliances will formed in future novels because of this bond. It would’ve been so easy to create Anemone as a rival character for Tsunami, but I love their bond instead.
I’m excited to continue on with this series, although I don’t see this being an all-time favourite.
