icl i’m so confused LMAO I HAVE NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON. i don’t think i was paying enough attention…

but cardan is king of elfhame now?? idk if that’s good or bad but ALSO THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH ROMANCE IN THIS BOOK. i was expecting a lot more so maybe that’s my fault or it’s tiktok’s fault 😐 and i don’t even have the next book to redeem this one. also cardan having a tail is kind of an ick but i’m trying to ignore it bc other than that it’s hot. i just want to get to the bit where i can read his letters to jude 😭 like the one where he says ‘come home and break my heart, if you must. just come home.’ 🥲🥲 CRYING and whenever he said ‘by you, i am forever undone’ i know that’s a quote from one of the books too.

i really just don’t see the chemistry between jude and cardan rn though 😭 so i’ve gotta say i’m a bit disappointed but maybe the other books in the series are better
