I hate the beginning of this volume because we get nothing but tragic backstory to Yuki, but at the same time, we see him in a new way and can understand why he's the way that he is.
We also get a glimpse of Kyo's feelings towards Tohru in this volume, but I think he's still trying to repress those feelings because he's afraid of hurting her. This is a logical reason, but there will always be a little pain when it comes to love. You can't be afraid of that Kyo! You can do it!!
