I don't think I've ever read a book like this. I'm not typically the type to annotate, but I couldn't seem to put my pen down the entire time. This was so beautifully written that I felt the urge to tattoo entire pages of prose on my body
I personally have not consumed any other Dracula content so I can't speak to the parallels or retelling aspect of this novel, but the storyline of this felt so fluid and well thought out.
This book absolutely embodies the concept of "show, don't tell." Abuse, trauma, jealousy, lust, confusion, polyamory, all of these themes were written so beautifully that I truly FELT them as the story progressed.
