Where Is the Green Sheep?
by Mem Fox
My first book of 2021. A great kids classic. Cute illustrations and use of rhyme and repetition. The pictures made it easy to predict what the rhymes were going to be. I have to admit, it felt a bit long winded before finally getting to the end. I have also heard complaints that the green sheep was fast asleep at the end, while there was already another earlier sheep in bed, though strictly speaking, the bed sheep technically wasn't sleeping. This is definitely a book I'll read to my kids one day, because it is fun and jolly!
