Queens of Mist and Madness by Lisette Marshall

5.0

Lisette Marshall’s Fae Isles series concludes in “Queens of Mist and Madness,” otherwise known as the incredible finale to this utterly amazing fantasy romance series.

No spoilers, but so much happened in this book, and while it was all very intense and epic and wonderful, there was also a lot of angst and emotion, as well as trauma and healing.

I feel like Creon will always be this beautifully tortured hero, and Emelin will always be this brilliantly sarcastic heroine, and I will always love them and their banter. They’ve both come to mean a lot to me, and I know I won’t be forgetting their story anytime soon.

I loved all the morally grey characters and the unique kinds of magic. This whole series was very complex, but it was also extremely well-written, and I’m so glad I took the time to read it. I most definitely recommend to spicy fantasy romance lovers!
