Small town, slow burn, single dad nanny romance with a shocking plot twist, this book was right up my alley. Asher was a great MC. I like how he was mature and his relationship with Olivia was so cute. I also really like how this book showed a positive co parenting relationship with no bad blood or drama. Phoebe was likeable as a whole. I was not a big fan of her "clumsiness" it seemed forced and unnecessary. I like a slow burn book but there was a point where I wish there was a bit more excitement before it got to the main plot twist. One other thing I was not a fan of was I wish we got to see a little more of their professions. It was a nanny book but I wish we saw more of her and Olivia. It was there but also could have been more. All in all, great book. I still have not fully read all of Corinne Michaels backlog so there were some characters I know are from other books (does not hinder the reading experience) but I wish I had read the others first. I also can't wait to read about the other members in the Whitlock Family. I loved Addison from the Rose Canyon series so I can't wait till she gets her HEA.
