The Unexpected Inheritance of Inspector Chopra
by Vaseem Khan
Cute little book, very similar to the books from Alexander McCall Smith, although far more deep into magic realism and more raw into its description of the city of Mumbai and its inhabitants. By no means perfect, makes a couple of leaps of wild leaps and becomes predictable, yet it is an entertaining and cute story. The characters are comfortable and easy to like.
If you want an uncomplicated story, with a set of characters with their heart in the right place, plus a police story mixed in with some fantastic events, it is a good book.
