How on Earth, do I describe what I just read? 'Geek Love' started off odd. A whimsical odd. Then an unethical odd. Then the story began to swing from odd to disturbing and back again, but getting darker and darker with each oscillation before just settling in on fucked up. Violence and mistreatment of women is not a unique plot device, but the special brand of woman- hate here was hard to swallow. Beautiful prose. But seriously, what did I just read?
