The Eyes of the Dragon by Stephen King

4.5 but rounding up for nostalgia's sake! This was one of my favorite books as a kid. It's a solid middle grade/ya fantasy with a small amount of scariness (I wouldn't call it horror). The storytelling style, with the omniscient narrator, is similar to Princess Bride. I also got glimpses of other King novels in this, even though this is truly so different. Ugh...I just really love this book as much now as I did when I was 11!
