This book was written after the core of the series was released and it is mostly in letter format.
It was meant to be a filler and I enjoyed the characters it introduced.
Anne becomes less known for her red hair and more so her character. It’s good to read about her being independent ( not that she ever wasn’t before) before she is off to Four Winds.
