¡Hola Papi!: How to Come Out in a Walmart Parking Lot and Other Life Lessons
by John Paul Brammer
emotional
funny
reflective
medium-paced
I don't often enjoy memoirs as a principle but Brammer's insightful work proved to be a welcome exception. Hola Papi is a wonderful collection of personal anecdotes and advice that has something for everyone even if you aren't queer, Latinx, or just dramatic for the sake of drama. Wonderfully balancing between hilarity and incredibly vulnerable gravity, this collection of essays is a worthwhile and a much-needed read!
