This was entertaining enough to listen to, but I kept waiting for the revelation that this particular therapist was no good. And instead he is kind of worshipped. And I think it's great that it worked for her, but a lot of it seemed a bit unethical. She even talks about that sometimes, but it doesn't seem to change her opinion of things. In addition, there is a part of me that felt like her problems were a bit superficial. Not the eating disorder part, though it's such a small part of the book it was easy to forget about. It annoyed me how obsessed she was about finding a partner - to the point where she doesn't even acknowledge the good things she has. I'm not trying to diminish her loneliness or ever say that someone isn't entitled to therapy because their problems aren't big enough. I'm just not certain I needed to read a whole book about it.
