Bryn Roth has been sequestered to live with her aunt since the death of her parents many years ago. Until a letter arrives on her 18th birthday summoning her back to Bastian and back to her uncle Henrik Roth. Bryn knows she’ll have to prove herself to the Roth’s and navigating Henrik’s mysterious plans for her proves complicated. Will Bryn sacrifice her own beliefs to fit with the Roth’s or will she step into the shadows herself?

I’ve been on a small YA kick this week it looks like and when Adrienne Young announced we’re getting a Saint book in the Fable world I felt the itch to finally read The Last Legacy. While I enjoy Young’s writing and stories this one was a bit different. The pace was slower compared to her other books and overall I didn’t feel that hook I typically do.

I did really like Bryn and the Roth family. Seeing into the Fable world from another angle was neat. There was a lot of fashion descriptions and high society discourse so if you’re a fan of that you’ll enjoy this! I also appreciated all the tea references that was my fave!

Thank you @raincoastbooks @wednesdaybooks for a copy of The Last Legacy in exchange for a review, 3✨. Can’t wait for Saint’s book and everything else Young has planned for us.
