It is like getting drunk, downloading five dating apps, swiping right on chaos, and waking up in the middle of a serial killer investigation. Gwen—our hot mess of a heroine—accidentally sleeps with her best friend’s fiancé, maybe has an ex-boyfriend (Noah) who’s either still in love with her or plotting revenge, and becomes the main suspect when people start dying through matches made on a cursed dating app called Connector. Add a hacker who screws with the algorithm just to frame her, a detective who’s so obsessed with her he practically doodles hearts around her name in his case file, and Sarah—the bestie turned maybe-killer—who has every reason to go full murdercore. And yet somehow it’s all kind of fun? A cozy crime thriller dipped in tequila and bad decisions, sprinkled with trauma, twisted affection, and the occasional cute cop. I suspected who the killer was but honestly didn’t care because I was just here for the mess. Would I swipe right again? Maybe. Depends how chaotic I’m feeling.
