I have to admit, I don't think this was a good book for me to start the author with. I have been wanting to read her work for some time, but this book just didn't really hit anything for me. It was an okay storyline, but I felt like everything kind of resolved easier than it should have, even though it took place over months. I just don't really see Vic and Emilia having a love connection I guess. It didn't seem forced at all, but I still don't feel like they match each other well.
