Lock In by John Scalzi

4.0

Yet another entertaining yarn by Scalzi. People run hot/cold with him...or they just have oddly placed opinions about the man and his oeuvre. Dialogue heavy and quick as all get out. The book is rife with Scalzi adept handling of pacing. This book is as close to a procedural as I've seen him write. It some what works for him. It is odd that a book who central premise deals with folks who are forced to be interior--there isn't a lot of that interior work being shown. Sure we get some visual descriptions...but little in actual processing. Just a quibble.

Still damned fun though.
