I love a secret softie, broken hero and a sassy FMC. The bad boy x good girl trope along with fake dating are some of my favorites. I enjoyed the development and background we got into Saint as a character. He’s been through a lot and you can see why he puts up the walls that he does. I liked learning about Lennnon’s past/family and how she decided to live her own life despite those expectations.
The banter was so good at the beginning and you could just feel all that tension building. Their relationship developed quickly physically, which isn’t a bad thing, but I wish there had been a bit more of a slow burn with their emotions I guess even after getting together in that way. It seemed to very quickly go from hate, to hooking up, to a relationship but I just didn’t connect with the build up. Once they decided to go all in though, I did love seeing them be vulnerable and support each other.
Overall an enjoyable read and I’m so excited for this new series! Glad to be back at Orleans U
