 Oh my! From the very first page I was pulled in and invested in Lily and Nash and their story. The anger, confusion, heartbreak, and love they feel for each other radiates from the page. I really enjoyed the relationships in this book, not just between Nash and Lily but also between Nash and his daughter and brothers. Bertie and her uncles have an amazing relationship and their interaction gave me all the feels. The layout of the book is special, there are illustrations at the start of each chapter and they are specific to the point of view, Lily or Nash,of the chapter. Plus each chapter has a song title that goes with the mood of the chapter. This was a very nice touch and these features enhanced the reading experience.This is a book that when I finished I immediately wanted more! Luckily it is part of a series and I can’t wait to read the next one. I highly recommend this book to readers that enjoy second chance romances filled with family.
