I have been waiting for Rush Dempsey, and boy he did not disappoint! I loved this book. The religion, the sacrifice, the sin, the passion, the loyalty, and the love. There were so many facets to this story. There were twists and turns that I couldn’t help but be surprised and utterly intrigued.
Isabelle and Rush, the connection they shared. Where light and dark collided and together they harbored both. Both sinners and saints. Together they are each other’s light at the end of the tunnel. And with each other they have their own vices and virtues to watch over them and also be there to watch over their friends, family not by blood but by choice.
A huge 5 stars!
