The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

5.0

Holy moly! I freaking love this book! It’s the perfect summer read. It's light, fun, and swoony.

Obviously, I love a good hate to love trope and this book does it so well too! We truly get to know the characters as their journey goes along. Olive is a strong, independent woman. Throughout the book she really grew as a person as she tries to figure out what she wants from her life. I really liked how things ended for her, it did not feel forced whatsoever. Ethan, where do I even start with him? He is just perfect. Honestly, I was swooning over him the whole time. He is smart, kind, funny, and so much more. He doesn’t act like a douche, he is not afraid to show his emotions, and he actually listens and have real conversations!! A total babe!

Olive and Ethan are both amazing!! I loved how they actually had honest conversations and always told the truth no matter what. I love their back and forth banter. It made me laugh so much. Their chemistry is off the roof and I could feel the sexual tension a mile away. And when they start to warm up to each other, I felt that! My cheeks were hurting from smiling the whole time!

I haven’t read many books by Christina Lauren yet, but from what I have read I can tell you this much that this book is my favorite!! And I don’t think that will change even after I read their other books. But one thing is for sure that their books always leave me wanting more.
