I flew through this book so the entertainment piece was definitely there. Very harrowing dystopia since it’s pretty on point with the current state of the world. Also tackled very real questions of raising a new generation in a new societal structure and what types of problems may occur.
But now I just have questions. Why did pretty much everyone outside survive? Why could they return? Why was it so easy to overthrow JM? Why did Orchid have to chase after Ava considering all the time that passed? Why was the conclusion like 2 pages? I feel like I’m missing MANY more “whys”?!
Anyway. Inclusive intersectional feminism forever. 🖤
