Bitter Sweet Love by Jennifer L. Armentrout
4.0

Great prequel. Sweet, longing, questioning, intense... I liked it a lot, and I wish it was longer (not a just a prequel, that is). It absolutely peaked my interest for White Hot Kiss.

I love Jennifer's way of making a young adult book sexy without being too explicit. It's not just "fade to black" or whatever, and I think that makes it more real in a way.
Who knew gargoyles could be hot? Not me. I'm a natural skeptic to things that I'm not used to (thankfully books are helping me get over that), but because this is Jennifer L. Armentrout we are talking about here, I knew I needed to read it. And of course I now think gargoyles are cool - even though I have to say that the Upper Lever demon, Roth (Ah, can't wait to get to know him in White Hot Kiss! Anyone who is the inspiration of Daemon Black has to be pretty awesome, right? My first impression is certainly telling me so), intrigues me even more. And he barely got 3 pages in this one. Can't believe I have to wait until march to get more of him...
