I have a soft spot for Orpheus/Eurydice retellings, and I like to think that I've read/seen enough of them now to not be hurt by them anymore. I was so, so wrong. I feel like someone punched me in the throat. Like a medium told me that someone I loved who died didn't love me enough to want a second life. Like my father will forget my face when I wake up tomorrow morning. I would highly recommend this play.
