This book is AMAZING. It’s heartbreaking, real, honest, and totally raw. Throughout the entire story, I was just as confused as the heroine- Emma. I can’t imagine what it would be like living in her shoes. Anyway, the complexity of emotions the emanate from this story are spot on, and the entire story is beautifully tragic. I loved every single second that I was reading it. It sucked me in from the get go and wouldn’t let me go until the very end. This is one of my FAVORITE books of the year so far and I can imagine that this story will stay with me for a while. 100%, this is a MUST read.

Emma Blair fell in love with Jessie after sharing their first kiss. It’s pretty clear from the get go, that these two are two birds of a feather, two souls that need each other to breath. But the day before their one-year wedding anniversary, Jessie’s helicopter goes down, and he is assumed dead. 2 years later, after facing a lot of grief from losing her one true love, Emma finds love again in Sam. This is Emma’s second chance- something not everyone is able to find. Emma and Sam are happy together. They have built a beautiful life together, and the rarity that Emma was able to find her one true love a second time is a blessing. But this blessing turns to a curse when Jessie has been found 3 years later, after being lost at sea. This one man, her one true love, is actually alive. And he wants his wife back. As if facing the grief of losing Jessie wasn’t hard enough, now Emma has to choose between her two, one true loves….

This book is completely gripping. Readers will have a hard time deciding who they feel is the best fit for Emma. Their hearts will break with every page just as Emma’s does, and they will feel these rapid emotions throughout. This book is about love, loss, grief, second chances, and making heartbreaking decisions that will affect everyone. This is not a love triangle. This is a story about 3 people who have found their one true love, but in different times in their life. This is a story about giving in, letting go, and finding yourself. It’s a beautiful story, and one that I highly recommend to everyone.
