This was incredibly depressing but fascinating to hear how we got to this dark dark place. The author did a great job simplifying complicated legal concepts and adding fun modern references and analogies. I only wish there had been more concrete ideas for how to change things besides, basically, to vote (which I already do in literally every election, no matter how minor).
