The King in Yellow
by Robert W. Chambers
A very nice and simple read.
I found the horror stories in this collection much more interesting than the romance ones. They had interesting themes, characters and some fun twists while the romance ones were quite boring to me.
I like how Chambers references other writers like Edgar Allan Poe and H. P. Lovercraft although it does make some stories a bit harder to read without prior knowledge.
My edition had the introduction by David Stuart Davies which I enjoyed.
