I started re-reading the series just to read this new released book. And I wasn't happy when I finished it. I have mixed feelings.
Ryder was an asshole and no, I didn't even feel sorry for him! He was a coward and he picked the easy way out! He could have done everything differently, but of course no!
I loved Branna from the first book, but I hated how she kept silent about all of this and didn't bother telling anyone. It's frustrating, I wanted to hug her, but then I wanted to hit her. She needed to break up with him a long time ago .... just saying.
I skipped the chapters talking about the past and their start. I got bored.
I skipped many pages of this book, I couldn't fully get into it.
But of course I couldn't hate the other Slater brothers even though they helped Ryder. Traitors.
Dominic, Alec, Kan and Ryder down. Waiting for Damien the most! Please don't disappoint :')
