Oh my good God. I spent all of reading Breathless waiting and itching and almost begging for River POV and here we are!!!!!! River being as amazing as I knew he was going to be!!!!!!! The title plays into the story so so SO beautifully. And the way River and Reese end up together was pretty sweet. Loads of pining, just enough angst, so steamy when it finally did happen. Can I complain that it was too short? I would have gladly read a full-length novel about the Tenley twins' lives, even if all they did was eat and watch TV and fuck a lot.
My only very tiny genuine complaint is about the outtakes. I would've killed for those to have been included in the main book. The way it shows how Shay knew so early on that there was something /more/ and was in awe of it. The next two scenes (which faded to black in the book) which always hinted at something more even in Breathless only to have no payout. I really really wish they'd been part of Breathless and that we'd gotten something new, something more in this novella.
But really that's the only thing I felt was lacking. If Cara Dee ever decides to revisit the three of them in another book, I will be all over it.
