One Bloody Thing After Another: The World's Gruesome History by Jacob F. Field

2.0

a bit scattered, if im being honest. -- the facts are all wildly interesting, but they all seem to only start a story or depict the middle of it without finishing or adding any context. i'd say this book is a long series of appetizers, little tid bits that might inspire a reader to seek more about a certain subject. to find another book. this book is very literally one bloody thing after another, facts in almost a mock list format. cool - but i was left unsatisfied.
