It took me absolutely forever to finish this book. Nothing happened in the first 120 pages. It isn’t until the 200th page or so that the protagonist starts to get his life together for no apparent motivation except for the fact that things fall into his lap. He doesn’t really work for anything or anyone and yet life just happens. And when he doesn’t get what he wants (the girl), he throws a fit and quits his job. The book doesn’t describe the characters too well physically until like the end. I was expecting the main character to be scrawny and nerdy but he’s this big hulk kind of guy which I guess then makes him hot? This book was just mediocre and plain bland. It ends with no consequences because he gets the girl and they make out with little to no arguments and then it fast forwards to them meeting each other’s parents and then it just ends on a random conversation they have.

So much exposition and setting up and quirky characters for no stakes or interesting climax. The love interests don’t even meet until the very very end. It was a let down, didn’t mean much. I didn’t really need to read this book but one is more than welcome to if they’re looking for a quirky, easy read.
