4.0

I’m gonna start off by saying, yes I absolutely loved and enjoyed the book. Carrie Aaron’s is an automatic buy for me ever since I picked up her first book.

As much as I enjoyed the book, I have to admit that in a way Leah ended up right back where she started: letting go of parts of herself for a man. Don’t get me wrong, she loves London and wants to be there yada yada, but I personally don’t really think SHE progressed all that much from Chapter one. Case and point, she continues to give him chances that even he admits he doesn’t deserve.

Killian on the other hand, has so much character growth. He starts out as the bad boy we love to hate, and you can actually see his demeanor start to change for Leah. He is the reason I loved this book, and if the author had wrote solely from his POV, it would’ve been 5 stars for me.
