Autumn Nights by Willow Aster
3.0

A light and easy and somewhat cheesy read!

What I liked:
•ASL inclusion in a thoughtful, intentional way
•Tropes of single dad & forced proximity
•Ivy and Pappy were my favorite characters
•Autumn and Summer’s sisterhood
•Supportive and loving family relationships

What I didn’t:
•Both main characters came across as a little immature, and that annoyed me.
•Their relationship felt very Instant Lust/Love, and that’s just not my personal favorite format.
•The plot and characters felt a little two-dimensional at times. I wanted more depth: What are Autumn’s career/life dreams? Zac protected Ivy from the world for so long, and he decided to bring Autumn to her seemingly without much thought? I just wanted more out of them.

Overall - It was a sweet book, a solid palette cleanser, but maybe just not for me personally!
