This book was almost a DNF for me and I actually regret it because the ending was just not it.
Emily was not the strong heroine I was hoping for in this. Parts of her actions truly aggravated me to no end. I can’t say much without major spoilers but just UGH.
The plot line was intriguing to me, I can’t deny that. But the execution and characters ended up leaving much to be desired. A true disappointment for me.
