A Farewell to Arms
by Ernest Hemingway
You see, I didn't enjoy this book in the slightest. The real issue is probably that my mind is corrupted by my contemporary storytelling and gripes of miscommunication and over-explanation.
However, Hemingway was literally known for not doing the most when it came to details, so it was refreshing to have less fluff to read.
The real issue for me was that I just found this novel incredibly boring. I've read this story told better in a contemporary setting, so I can't really try to scrounge for things to like.
I don't have the magpie qualities to actually recommend or enjoy this book.
