Night of the Mannequins by Stephen Graham Jones

4.5

I went into this with just the title as my knowledge of the plot. So I was shocked but didn't hate the direction it ends up going. Listening to Sawyer's mind talk himself into all of this was so interesting and disturbing. The murders were violent and even just his conversations about how he would kill someone were pretty dark. I loved it though. It's dark and twisted and fun. I honestly just wish it was longer. I would easily have read hundreds and hundreds of pages for this story.
