Good Night, Mouse! by Jed Henry

3.0

This book definitely is a cute bedtime book. All of the animals are putting all of their energy and time into trying to help the little mouse got to sleep. They seem to try a little bit of everything before something really works. It can remind you of what your parents/guardians had to do in order to put you to sleep or what you may have to do in order to put your own kids to sleep.

I loved the illustrations which seemed as though they were done in colored pencil. The only thing that is difficult about it is the rhyming scheme which I found sort of awkward to follow. I think I understand what the other was attempting to do, but it still made it a little more of a slow read than anticipated.

If you're looking for a bedtime book for your children I would recommend this one.
