As a big fan of the animated movie adaptation of this book I had been very curious to see what the original story was like. I found out it differs in many ways from the movie but the essence of it is still there and despite the differences I appreciate them both equally. It was fun for me to see what changed and what was kept. Diana writes such a fantastic world that it had me captivated. Now I want to re-watch the movie with a new vision of it.
