My first book completed for the @transrightsreadathon and it was such a cute one!! This book follows Noah, who came out as trans and is moving from Florida to California with his family. His brother Brian goes to school in Colorado, and Noah stays with him during the summer while their parents house hunt. Noah runs the Meet Cute Diary blog on tumblr, and he has his own meet cute with Drew. Is it the start of the perfect relationship?!
This was so adorable! I really liked how all of the characters felt their ages, from the big brother Brian to Devin to Drew to Becca to Noah. There was a lot of big emotions here and I loved every single one. None of these characters were perfect. They all had things going on. There were messy friendships and loving relationships. There were sweet moments and breakups. Learning who Devin was made me emotional and watching Noah realize how he felt was so sweet. I truly enjoyed this one and I’m so glad I read it!
