Turning Pointe by Katherine Locke

4.0

I really loved the friendship between Zed and Aly. Their chemistry was electric and I liked all the doublespeak where they were talking about dance but also their relationship. There were a couple of details that felt wrong but the author did give a nice ballet atmosphere overall even if it wasn't the most scrupulously accurate. However the tragedy that struck at the end was just a little too much for me to want to go on that ride with the couple in the next book. I think I will remember them as they were in this book and not read farther to the damaged adults they became.
